My overall rating placed this restaurant at #30 of the 159 restaurants I have eaten at in the Carlisle area since February 2019.Twin Peaks Restaurant organizes and sponsors promotions, giveaways, and contests awarding various prizes to participants. The server recommended coleslaw was average, at best in taste The shrimp in the linguini Alfredo were very small The butter used on the Maine lobster was an extremely salty and did not compliment the lobster tail There were traces of small claw meat in it that was very tender. The linguini was very good, cooked perfect with nice flavor. The rock lobster tail was the winner for me this night based on flavor and texture. The lobster tails were bigger than I expected, around 6-8 ounces each. The lobster dish was plated and presented very nicely The taste was very good and there was a decent amount of product in it. NE officials are very strict on the temperature of restaurant served NE clam chowder. The NE Clam Chowder was served very hot, but not boiling hot so they nailed it on temperature. My appetizer was the server recommended NE Clam Chowder ($6/bowl) I looked at the menu and saw they were running a Lobsterfest theme, so I went with the featured Lobster Lover’s Dream ($38) - a succulent roasted rock lobster tail, butter-pouched Maine lobster tail and lobster-and-shrimp linguini Alfredo with two sides. Like a scene out of the Soprano’s where Pauly Walnuts looked at the menu and said, “I heard the Lobster was pretty good hear”. ![]() Interesting that the interior looked exactly like the MD location, so the Déjà vu moment was not a good one. The last time I dined at a Red Lobster was in Maryland about a year ago and was not impressed but I thought I would give it another chance by limiting my order to. This was my first this location of the chain’s restaurant empire. he kept his commitments to me in all regards. I expect that me sharing our experience was a learning experience for him and the source of many teaching minutes for those who let him down.Īs for what he said he would do. ![]() He was not pleased to learn that to-go boxes were packed on their side in the bag! He made commitments to address the issues. I started out telling him the food was good…THEN I recited the multiple failings. “I’m sorry, only the manager can address that and he’s not here today.” The short term disappointments were numerous… “no, I do not want to drive back to get the missing items…or return the things we did not order…” Packaging, attention to details, missing items, EXTRA items and how management addresses these cumulative negatives determines the taste this meal leaves in your mouth.Īll the kids & grand kids were in town for a 47th anniversary…it was a big.
